Here’s a shoot I did a few months back (October?) for the Radio Times. Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald in Corrie) leaving the Street. It appears in the Christmas 2011 issue.
Thanks to Etienne Varg for assisting me, Lorraine McCulloch for styling, Christopher Raine for Hair & MUP and Olivia Howitt & Dawn Coomber for sorting everything out.
Some images from the shoot:

And some behind-the-scenes of everyone thoroughly enjoying the weather:

I had the actress and all-round lovely person Eva Sampson up to the studio last week.
Fun! And sunny, and cold..

I was delighted to photograph poet Mahendra Solanki last week.
Thoroughly great chap.

Plus: the most delightfully warm-hearted, enthrallingly impish dinner company.
Good times.

Had the pleasure of photographing Maurice Glasman this year, whose name is invariably followed by the epithet ‘architect of Blue Labour’.
Really interesting, engaging, unashamed contrarian of the Labour movement. Made me want to study political theory at London Met.
Furthermore, he managed to successfully pull off an outfit that contained all the traditional elements of a school uniform.
Awesome.

Andy Burnham, photographed at his constituency office in Leigh this year.
Chatty, engaged and genuinely interested in the project. Also, nice shirt.

Frances O’Grady, still chipper and engaging come the close of the TUC 2011.

Brendan Barber, still smiling come the end of the TUC 2011 in London.
Lovely chap, fire fighting some ripe press with regard to the coordinated strikes announced by several Unions present at this year’s TUC.
